growing pleasure

Before choosing a CO2 production system for your growing pleasure, keep in mind that CO2 is only one of several interdependent growth-enhancing factors. If any one of these factors is forgotten or ignored, all your efforts with CO2 will be wasted. These factors are: Ventilation Temperature Humidity If CO2 is injected into a room with no internal air circulation, it immediately falls to the floor and stays there, or it leaks out the cracks in the door and around the baseboard. Even with moderate air circulation, such as a small fan, CO2 settles and does not reach the leaves. Lots of Fans Perhaps more could be beneficially supplied to some fast-growing species. 2000 or even 2500 ppm may not be too much for some species. Remember that the plant needs more water and nutrients as the CO2 levels climb and plant growth spurts from marijuana seeds. A plant that transpires 1 quart of water daily uses about 2 quarts or more with optimum CO2 enrichment.

Vegetation

Vegetative material below this canopy receives little light, does little photosynthesizing and produces little energy for the plant (semi di marijuana). Since a tall plant produces no more than a short one, the plants are forced to flower when they are 8-15 inches tall. At maturity they will stand only 18-36 inches. When the light cycle is switched to “short day,” the plant’s growth changes from vegetative - the production of leaves and stems, to the reproductive cycle. A few days after the change in the light regimen, all visible growth slows down. Then the first flowers appear.
